Tom Dickson & Sherrie Myers - Owners

Take Me Out To The Ballgame, L.L.C., parent company of the Lansing Lugnuts, was formed by husband-and-wife team Tom Dickson and Sherrie Myers when they purchased the Waterloo (IA) Diamonds in 1993. The team played the 1994 and 1995 seasons as the Sultans in Springfield, Illinois, before relocating to Michigan's capital city in 1996 and becoming the Lansing Lugnuts.

Tom Dickson is President and Managing Partner of Take Me Out To The Ballgame, L.L.C. He formerly was Senior Vice President and Group Account Director of the Leo Burnett Company, the largest advertising agency in the United States. Dickson has managed several national business accounts including Kellogg, Procter & Gamble, Hallmark and Keebler.

Sherrie Myers is Co-Owner and Vice President of Take Me Out To The Ballgame, L.L.C. Myers, a 1979 graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, has 20 years of publishing, sales and sales management experience including the launch of several national magazines. Over the years, Myers has served in key management roles at the Chicago Tribune, Sunset, Smithsonian and Health magazines. Most recently, Myers was the co-founder of Selling Magazine, the first-ever national sales magazine for sales professionals.
