LANSING, Mich. – Down 4-2 entering the eighth inning, the Fort Wayne TinCaps (11-10) exploded for eight runs and a 10-4 triumph over the Lansing Lugnuts (13-9) in the opener of a four-game series at Cooley Law School Stadium.
The Lugnuts lost their second straight contest after a six-game winning streak, remaining at 999 wins in the franchise's 15-year history.
