Lugnuts and Silver Hawks canceled due to rain
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The scheduled Monday night game between the Lansing Lugnuts (29-21) and the South Bend Silver Hawks (23-28) has been canceled due to rain.
Since the game was the last meeting between the two teams in the first half, it will not be made up.
The Lugnuts now return home to Cooley Law School Stadium for a six-game homestand against the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Quad Cities River Bandits.
The homestand begins with a 7:05 p.m. Dollar Dog Tuesday, featuring Lansing right-hander Ryan Tepera (5-1, 3.68) taking on Cedar Rapids right-hander Fabio Martinez (2-1, 4.10).
