Jimenez lifts Lugnuts past Loons in 9th, 6-5
LANSING, Mich. – A.J. Jimenez's one-out single up the middle in the bottom of the ninth brought home Kevin Nolan with the game-winning run, and the Lansing Lugnuts (18-15; 54-48) celebrated a 6-5 comeback win over the Great Lakes Loons (26-7; 69-33) on Friday night on Jackson Field.
The Lugnuts went 6-3 on their nine-game homestand, avoiding the three-game sweep by Great Lakes.
Nestor Molina (7-2) pitched three scoreless and hitless innings to earn the victory.
