Lugnuts Season Tickets on sale,
Nuts and Bolts store opens at Meridian Mall
LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Lugnuts announced today that Nuts and Bolts, the team's official retail store, will open at Meridian Mall on Monday, November 20. That same day, season tickets for the 2007 campaign will go on sale.
This season the Lugnuts are offering several different season ticket packages that start as low as $54. Along with the many benefits of being a season ticket holder, each person that purchases season tickets will receive a free ticket to the first annual Crosstown Showdown presented by Auto-Owners Insurance on April 3, 2007 between the Lugnuts and the Michigan State Spartans.
Season tickets can be purchased online at www.lansinglugnuts.com or at the team's new Nuts and Bolts location at Meridian Mall. The store will be open during the holiday season and will follow mall hours.
"We are very excited to open a store in Meridian Mall for the holiday season and kick-off our season ticket sales too," Lugnuts General Manager Jeff Calhoun said. "Season tickets make great, affordable holiday gifts and we are extremely pleased to be able to offer a ticket to such an exciting event like the Crosstown Showdown with each package."
Fans can purchase season tickets at the store along with Lugnuts holiday gifts and merchandise. There will also be a special Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 2. The Open House will include cookies, beverages, games, a raffle giveaway and a special appearance from Big Lug for autographs and pictures.
The Open House will be just one of several appearances at the store made by Big Lug. He will be making regular appearances on Saturdays. Those days are November 25, December 9, December 16 and December 23. Also, every Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m., shoppers will have the opportunity to have their picture taken in the store and then view their special holiday photo on the Lugnuts website.
Another feature to the store will be the area just for kids. The area will feature a hitting cage, a coloring station, and free popcorn. There will also be an in-store raffle for tickets to the owner's seats to a game in 2007.
