Lugnuts single game tickets on sale Saturday!
LANSING, Mich. – 2009 single game tickets for the Lansing Lugnuts, Class-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. this Saturday, March 28. Tickets to all 70 of the Lugnuts’ regular season games at Oldsmobile Park as well as the third annual Crosstown Showdown against Michigan State University, presented by Auto-Owners Insurance, will be available for purchase both online at www.lansinglugnuts.com and at the Oldsmobile Park box office.
“It’s always exciting whenever our single-game tickets go on sale,” said General Manager Pat Day. “This is the first opportunity for fans to purchase tickets to Opening Night, the Crosstown Showdown, or any other game they choose.”
The single-game tickets are being released one week after the Lugnuts announced the Lugnuts Food Stimulus Plan. New for 2009, every Tuesday home game will be a Dollar Dog Tuesday, with hot dogs priced at just $1 all game long. New for 2009, every Sunday home game will see Kids Eat Free, with all kids 12 and under receiving a coupon for a free kids hot dog and 12 oz. Pepsi product as they enter the ballpark.
Every Thursday home game continues with the ever-popular Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursday, featuring $2 beer and soda specials.
Also new for 2009 are Lugnuts Value Meals, combining a choice of one of six different entrées with a bag of potato chips and a 16 oz. Pepsi product, saving fans $1.50-$2.25.
“This is going to be a special season at Oldsmobile Park,” added Day. “We’ll have 20 games featuring post-game LAFCU Fireworks, three Auto-Owners Insurance Giveaways (May 16, June 26, September 4), and exciting theme nights such as Circus Night (May 30).”
Single-game ticket prices at Oldsmobile Park range from $9 for Box Seats to $8 for Reserved Seats to $7 for General Admission Lawn Seats.
Opening Day tickets for The Clubhouse, the premium suite level seating area at Oldsmobile Park, will be released to the public on April 2. Afterward, single game tickets for The Clubhouse for any Lugnuts home game will become available for purchase a week before that game. The Lugnuts open up the 2009 Midwest League Schedule with a Labatt Blue Light Thirsty Thursday on April 9, at 7:05 p.m. at Oldsmobile Park against the Fort Wayne TinCaps. LAFCU Fireworks will follow the game.
