
Jesse Goldberg-Strassler - "Voice of the Lugnuts"
The 2010 season marks Jesse Goldberg-Strassler's second as Lugnuts Radio Broadcaster.
A native of Greenbelt, Maryland, Jesse graduated from Ithaca College in 2004 with a degree in Television/Radio (Audio Production concentration) while double-minoring in Writing and English.
After an internship covering the Baltimore Orioles for WBAL Radio and 92 Rock FM in Baltimore, Jesse was named the inaugural Victoria Snelgrove Media Intern for the Brockton Rox (Independent - Eastern League) in 2005. With the Rox, he hosted the pregame/postgame show for current Houston Astros broadcaster Dave Raymond.
Jesse spent the 2006-2007 seasons with the Lugnuts' sister team, the back-to-back Southern League Champion Montgomery Biscuits, serving as the #2 broadcaster beside former Lugnuts lead voice Jim Tocco.
In 2008, Jesse served as the lead broadcaster for the Frontier League Champion Windy City ThunderBolts. Following the season, he was named as a Runner-Up for Ballpark Digest's Broadcaster of the Year.
