• Inclement Weather Procedures - In the event of inclement weather a final decision for play will be made by 7:00 a.m. on the day of your game.  Please call 517-485-4500 for updates which will be heard during the voice-mail’s opening greeting or check the Lugnuts website.  Your group representative will also attempt to reach you personally in the event of bad weather.

• Bus Parking – Please read this thoroughly and make sure you have communicated to the bus drivers before arriving to the stadium!  Tickets for the bus drivers will be available with the shuttle driver. Click here to view specific parking information.

• Gates Open – Gates open at 9:30 a.m.  Students and faculty will be admitted at that time.

• Junior Press – If you have students participating in the Junior Press Program, they must be at the stadium between 9:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. to check in.  Students should check in at Guest Services, which is located right inside the main gates of the stadium.  The press conference will start promptly at 9:45 and cannot be delayed due to player involvement. 
  
  
• Autograph Area – The Lansing Board of Water & Light Autograph Area will be open from 9:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Anyone wishing to have an item autographed can enter the area from the steps next to the right field wall on the first base side.  The autograph area is open to the public and we ask each child to limit autographs to one per person, per player
  
  
• Sack Lunches – All sack lunches purchased for your students will be served in the Tailgate Terrace located in right field.  Serving times will be from 11:00 – 1:00. Your sack lunch vouchers and lunch timeline will be included in your ticket packet. *Food may not be brought in to Oldsmobile Park. This policy will be enforced strictly.
  
  
• Dean Trailways Educator’s Reception – Complimentary refreshments will be provided for a maximum of two pre-selected special guests from each school, as registered on the online or faxable form.  The reception will take place in the Owner’s Suite from 11:15 am to 1:15 pm and the vouchers will be enclosed in your ticket packet (you must be registered and present a voucher to enter the reception).  This benefit is a special way that Dean Trailways and the Lansing Lugnuts show appreciation to your selected teachers or chaperones.
  
  
• Group Announcement – We’re excited to tell everyone your joining us for Grand Slam School Day.  Your school’s name will be read in alphabetical order during the game.  Don’t forget to watch the scoreboard during the 2nd or 3rd innings to see your name in lights! 

A few weeks out from you school’s trip, you will be emailed an informational form for you to fill out regarding your school’s bus arrival/departure times, Junior Press participants, group recognition and teachers/administrators joining the Dean Trailways Educator’s Reception.
