Dear Educators:
Here is the necessary event information for Grand Slam School Day!
- Game Times - Grand Slam School Day games start promptly at 10:35 a.m. If your students are participating in any pre-game events including: anthems, first pitches, or Junior Press, your sales representative will work with you to coordinate a specific arrival time.
- Ticket Prices - Box seats (theater style chair with back and arm rests) $9.00, Reserved seats (bench style seating) $8.00, Lawn seats $7.00. No payment is needed to reserve tickets, we'll hold the seats you think you'll need now and you won't need to pay until 45 days before the game.
- T-Shirts - Your school can order customized t-shirts for every member of your group for just $8.50 per shirt, with a minimum of 20 shirts. Shirts are printed with both a limited Lugnuts logo on the back and your one color school logo on front. Ask your sales representative for details and samples.
- Food - A special box lunch is available for purchase during GSSD only, and MUST be pre-purchased through your group sales representative. A meal consisting of a hot dog, a bag of chips and a juice box is available to students at a cost of $3.75. As an additional option, Lugnut Loot can be pre-purchased in $1 and $5 increments. (Lugnut Loot is the voucher currency that can be used for food, retail items or additional tickets at Oldsmobile Park.) Food may not be brought into Oldsmobile Park and will be strictly enforced.

Junior Press - Junior Press is a program that promotes journalism and encourages students to learn about this profession. Participating schools are allowed to invite two students to receive this honor! For more information about this program click here.

“Taking our 7th grade band to play at the Lugnuts game was a great experience. It was very easy to plan the event and our group sales representative took care of almost all of the details. Our students were able to perform Take Me Out To The Ballgame while enjoying the day at the stadium. Parents were able to sit with us in the stands and enjoy the performance and the game. Our 6th grade students are already looking forward to attending a game next year!
