Backyard BBQ has two other locations in the greater Lansing area and will take over for Winston's on the Lugnuts' concessions menu. Backyard BBQ will feature their locally famous smoked pork and turkey sandwiches, with the signature menu item being their hickory smoked pulled pork sandwich. Additional menu options include chips, drinks and a tiger brownie dessert.

Backyard BBQ has been operating in the greater Lansing area for over four years and owner Jim Johnson is very excited about the chance to team up with the Lugnuts.

"When I think about baseball, I think about the backyard barbeque," he said. "We at Backyard BBQ feel the Lugnuts will be a great partner and we look forward to working together as a team."
