Lansing, MI – The Lansing Lugnuts are hoping to find mid-Michigan’s most talented, dynamic, outgoing performers at their open casting call on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Oldsmobile Park.
The Lugnuts are looking to hire several entertainers to delight fans during the 2006 season, including the coveted position of playing Big Lug, the Lugnuts loveable mascot.
The team is also searching for jugglers, singers, dancers, musicians, balloon twisters, magicians, artists and even outgoing people whose only specific talent is making people smile. During the 2006 season, these entertainers will be roaming the stadium interacting with fans and entertaining the crowds.
The casting call is an open audition for anyone who considers himself / herself an entertainer. Lugnuts staff will be on hand to speak with each applicant and witness performances.
“We’re looking for people who are the life of the party,” said Lugnuts Director of Marketing Valerie Claus. “I’m really looking forward to seeing some diverse talents put on display here. But more than that, I’m looking forward to seeing people who can entertain based only on the strength of their personality.”
The casting call is open to all ages 16 and over, and it will last until all future stars have had an audition. |
