In September of 1998 the Lansing Lugnuts and the Chicago Cubs signed a deal that changed the Lugnuts affiliation from the Kansas City Royals to the Chicago Cubs. As with their previous affiliates, the Lugnuts and the Blue Jays are excited to build a rewarding, long-term relationship.
